Why Choose Our Services?
National Vision Services specializes in providing services for the blind and visually impaired.
We fully understand the complexities and requirements that these special needs require.
Teacher of students with visual impairments
The teacher of students with visual impairments (TVI) is a central figure in your child’s team. The TVI helps develop an instructional plan and provides support for blindness or low vision. They understand how vision impacts learning and offer strategies and tools for learning and daily activities.
ORIENTATION AND MOBILITY (O&M) SPECIALISTS
A Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) is a highly trained expert who specializes in working with individuals who are blind, low vision, or have functional visual limitations. They empower these individuals to achieve their life goals for education, employment, avocation, and independence.
braillist
A Braillist is an expert at writing Braille, a system of reading and writing tactilely using raised dots that can be read by the sense of touch. A Braillist is a person who has the skill and knowledge to transcribe or create Braille text, which is essential for individuals who are blind or have low vision.
Para-educators
Para-educators (Para) assist with classroom instruction and provide direct services to students under the supervision of a licensed teacher. They specialize in assisting special needs students, specifically the visually impaired, and help teachers succeed.
